[recs] arashi~
So, I've had these tabs open in my browser for a while, and I figured I should post them somewhere rather than leaving tabs open so that I don't forget about them. XD; These are all Arashi BL fics in some way or another that I've found enjoyable in the past~

The Majestic by palmolive-je @ lj ~ "In the end, it turns out that pretty much everything Ninomiya Kazunari thought he knew about anything is wrong." ~ Ohmiya ~ Hard-R/NC-17
The thing that I honestly remember the most about this fic is the one-liners; the author is really excellent at them. There are more than a few lines that made me giggle or laugh out loud. Her characterization is also spot on, and though I rarely read chapter fics, I really enjoyed this one.
Simple by floweranza @ lj ~ "The many ways Aiba loves, and everything that follows along with that." ~ Aiba-centric ~ PG-13
This is a really, really amazing Aiba fic. There's not a real pairing, though there are a variety of ways that one could read into it, but really, the best thing about this fic is just Aiba. I think I may have cried while reading it.
Liminality by floweranza @ lj ~ "When a simple interview question makes Jun wonder about the meaning of happiness, he realizes that Arashi isn't as happy as he had thought." ~ Jun/Aiba; Ohmiya; Arashi/Aiba ~ NC-17
Despite the fact that I was utterly surprised by the ending, this is a really excellent look at traditional pairings. The characterization is amazing, especially Jun and Nino. There is also a short followup here that takes place during the middle of the original fic.
Saudade by waxrose @ lj ~ "Set six years into the future: Ohno hears about it first from Nino…" ~ Ohmiya ~ PG-13
A really interesting look into a possible future. Features Ohno with kittens! It's really moving, totally believable, and good for those of us who like to read fic where all the members of Arashi really do care about one another.
in that certain time by waxrose @ lj ~ Five short vignettes from the same universe/time frame as Saudade. ~ Ohmiya ~ PG
A followup to Saudade; this fic is really its own entity except that it rests on the fact that the reader has read Saudade first. Like Saudade, it's well written and moving-- I would definitely read it along with the original.
